Program Description

The SYNERGIES symposium is designed as a platform for talented early-career clinicians and scientists to showcase their work as an international Junior Faculty, as they emerge as experts and leaders in clinical and scientific research aspects of movement disorders. In this symposium, applicants selected as Junior Faculty will present short lectures based on their submitted abstracts, and obtain guidance from senior faculty members on their scientific content, presentation skills as well as broader career skills. 

 

The top 3 selected SYNERGIES Junior Faculty presenters will have the opportunity to present their abstract at the MDS-AOS Essentials in Movement Disorders for Early Career Clinicians and Scientists course on November 24-25, 2026 in Manila, Philippines.

LEARNING OBJECTIVES

Upon completion of this activity, learners will be able to: 

1. Demonstrate their skills to present as a Faculty member and serve a Chair at an international platform

2. Develop and enhance their scientific presentation skills to an international audience

3. Identify practical strategies for mentorship, collaboration, publication, and career development in movement disorders


INTENDED AUDIENCE

This activity is intended for early career clinicians interested in movement disorders and movement disorders research. As well as clinical, clinical research, movement disorders, post-doctoral fellows and neurology residents. And lastly, basic science, translational and clinical researchers and early career scientists interested in movement disorders and movement disorders research.
