LEARNING OBJECTIVES
Upon the completion of this activity, learners will be able to:
1. Explain the epidemiology, causes, and pathophysiology of RLS.
2. Apply disgnostic criteria to accurately identify RLS and distinguish it from similar conditions.
3. Analyze the pharmacologic and non-pharmacologic treatment options to develop individualized RLS management plans.
4. Evaluate treatment responses and complications, including augmentation and adverse effects, to optimize ongoing care.
INTENDED AUDIENCE
This activity is intended for students, residents, primary care providers, internists, allied health, non-neurology specialists, and industry who have limited to no movement disorder experience.
