Program Description

Course Purpose

Journal CME highlights various articles covering relevant issues, developments and research topics in the area of movement disorders. Articles are selected from Movement Disorders, the official Journal of the International Parkinson and Movement Disorder Society.

Learning Objectives

Upon completion of this activity learners will be able to:
1. Recognize the implications of gastrointestinal tract dysfunction in Parkinson’s disease
2. Understand the efficacy of DA-9701 on various symptoms of Parkinson’s disease
3. Evaluate the mechanistic considerations of drugs for gastrointestinal symptoms in Parkinson’s disease

Intended Audience

This activity is intended for physicians, fellows or other practitioners in the field of Movement Disorders with an emphasis on current practice trends.

Method of Participation

This activity will take approximately 1 hour to complete. To receive credit, participants are required to complete the view the online activity and complete the post-test and evaluation. To receive credit, 75% must be achieved on the post test. A certificate will be immediately available. There is no fee to participate in the activity or for the generation of the certificate.
