LEARNING OBJECTIVES

Upon completion of this activity, learners will be able to: 

1. List the common medications that can cause parkinsonism.
2. Explain the mechanism of drug-induced parkinsonism.
3. Describe the clinical course and treatment of drug-induced parkinsonism.


INTENDED AUDIENCE

This module is intended for neurologists, primary care physicians with an interest in movement disorders, neurology residents and movement disorder fellows.


HARDWARE AND SOFTWARE REQUIREMENTS

1. Active Internet connection (DSL or Cable). Dial-up connection will have constant buffering problem.

2. Compatible with Windows PC and MAC (256 MB of RAM or higher).
