Program Description

The MDS-AS Movement Disorders Related to Neurological and Systemic Disorders online course aims to recognize the common systemic and neurological disorders that can present as movement disorders. Movement disorders may herald the presence of a systemic disorder. The diagnosis, management and treatment are dependent on identifying the underlying neurological or systemic disorder. For this, a multi-disciplinary team approach is required. An approach to Movement disorders in adults and pediatric age groups associated with drugs, autoimmune, metabolic, infective, paraneoplastic and infective diseases will be presented. Case examples for some of these disorders will be included.
