Program Description

The Virtual SYNERGIES symposium will allow early-career clinicians and scientists to showcase their work as an international Junior Faculty. This course is divided into two parts: Part 1: Virtually program where participants will present their lectures based on their chosen topic of expertise and interest area. Part 2: in-person as part of the MDS-AOS Basic and Clinical Science School on Genetics in Kuala Lumpur, Malaysia on July 13-14, 2024.

Selected applicants will receive a bursary to attend the MDS-AOS Basic and Clinical Science School on Genetics in Kuala Lumpur, Malaysia.

LEARNING OBJECTIVES

Upon completion of this activity, learners will be able to: 

1. Demonstrate their skills to present as a Faculty member and serve a Chair at an international platform

2. Develop and enhance their scientific presentation skills

3. Identify strategies to further develop their professional and research career


INTENDED AUDIENCE

This activity is intended for early career clinicians interested in movement disorders and movement disorders research. As well as clinical, clinical research, movement disorders, post-doctoral fellows and neurology residents. And lastly, basic science, translational and clinical researchers and early career scientists interested in movement disorders and movement disorders research.
