Program Description

The MDS-PAS Affiliate & National Society Video Case Discussion Series is a 3-part series occurring from April 2024 – June 2024 organized in collaboration with affiliate and national societies within the MDS-PAS. Each session will cover a foundational topic in the field of Movement Disorders using didactic lecture and interactive case presentation and discussion. After the case is presented there will be a series of polling questions about the case, followed by a panel discussion of MDS-PAS identified experts.

LEARNING OBJECTIVES

Upon completion of this activity, learners will be able to: 

1. Gain an understanding of diverse phenomenology and acquire foundational knowledge on how to approach to movement disorders

2. Differentiate between typical and atypical clinical features of movement disorders

3. Interpret key investigations in movement disorders and apply this knowledge to clinical practice

4. Demonstrate clinical proficiency in recognizing phenomenology and distinguishing between typical and atypical presentations of movement disorders

This activity is intended for general neurologists, primary care clinicians, clinical fellows, and neurology residents.
