INTENDED AUDIENCE
This activity is intended for young neurologists within five years of their completion of general neurological training who are interested in specializing in movement disorders, and young neurologists who are already training in movement disorders. The audience will be members of the MDS European Section with a particular focus on supporting young neurologists from Eastern Europe.
PARTICIPANT VIDEO CASE COMPETITION
Students will present their own case-study videos to small groups for discussion and critique and will be involved in group presentations and case discussions. Topics will focus on parkinsonism, hyperkinetic disorders and complex issues in movement disorders. There are several portions of small group work: clinical rounds for patient interaction and presentation of video case studies, and focused workshop sessions. This enables the students to receive customized critique of current skills and highly engaged instruction.
