Program Description

The MDS-AS Overview of Hypokinetic and Hyperkinetic Movement Disorders course will take place Friday May 30, - Saturday May 31, 2025. Below, you will find a copy of course program that includes a detailed course schedule, address of the course venue, and instructions to completing the evaluation. Additionally, lectures will be posted as they are received from the program faculty. Lectures will remain available for 60 days post-course.

Upon completion of this activity, learners will be able to: 

  1. Recognize and differentiate common movement disorders
  2. Apply management strategies to patients with Parkinson’s Disease
  3. Recognize and approach other hyperkinetic movement disorders
  4. Develop an understanding of diagnosing movement disorders
