Program Description

The MDS-PAS Affiliate & National Society Video Case Discussion Series is a 3-part series occurring from May 2025 - July 2025 organized in collaboration with affiliate and national societies within the MDS-PAS. Each session will cover a foundational topic in the field of Movement Disorders using interactive case presentations and discussion. After the case is presented there will be a series of polling questions about the case, followed by a panel discussion of MDS-PAS identified experts.

LEARNING OBJECTIVES

Upon completion of this activity, learners will be able to: 

1. Identify and describe key phenomenology in movement disorders

2. Differentiate between typical and atypical presentations of hypokinetic, hyperkinetic, functional, and autoimmune movement disorders

3. Apply diagnostic tools and clinical investigations to complex movement disorder cases

4. Engage in interactive case-based discussions to refine diagnostic and therapeutic reasoning


INTENDED AUDIENCE

This activity is intended for movement disorders specialists, general neurologists, fellows, residents, occupational therapists, and physician assistants.
