LEARNING OBJECTIVES
Upon completion of this activity, learners will be able to:
- An approach to improving diagnostic skills of the commonest movement disorders: Dystonia, Tremor, Chorea, Functional disorders.
- Understanding of the management of motor and non-motor dysfunction in Parkinson’s disease.
- Use of botulinum toxin in the treatment of dystonia.
INTENDED AUDIENCE
This MDS-Africa School is intended for young neurologists within five years of their completion of general neurological training who are interested in specializing in movement disorders, and young neurologists who are already training in movement disorders.
