Program Description

Engagement is defined as an emotional and cognitive connection, where one is focused, energized, and able to derive pleasure from participation.  There is attention, curiosity, interest, optimism, and passion which extends to motivation and progress of the individual. Collaboration is a shared interaction in order to create a mutually beneficial exchange of knowledge. This can be done by partnering on a local, regional, or global level to create a shared investment of resources including knowledge, skills and materials. Outreach is the act of directly reaching out and sharing knowledge or resources. It can serve to build awareness, provide resources, create and strengthen relationships, and cater to the needs of others.
