Overview:
This feature allows administrative user to change the status of incoming question. Following status will be shown in the drop down menu:
•Initiate - Question is asked/initiated by the learner.
•Awaiting - Question is under review. Answer from the faculty is awaiting.
•Replied - Question replied to, either by course manager or by faculty, and email notification will be sent to learner who asked the question.
•Reject - Question is rejected by the course manager and no further action will be needed.
•Replied/Discussion Board - Question replied to, either by course manager or by faculty, and email notification will be sent to learner who asked the question, and question will also be posted on the discussion board.
•Discussion Board - Question is included on the discussion board.

Select the question from the Q & A grid for which you want to change the status and then select the Change Status option. |

Select the question first and click Change Status button to change the question status. |

Updated status is reflected for the question in the Q & A grid:

Send Mail To Faculty |

Select Send Mail icon to send selected question to faculty via mail.
If course manager will not be able to answer the question asked by learner, administrative user can click on this option and Email notification will be sent to faculty.
Faculty will answer by communicating with manager internally via phone, Email, etc. Course manager will go to the course and document the answer given by the faculty.
