Overview:

 

eCommerce feature is configurable at the course level. eCommerce feature is applicable for online, live and curriculum types of courses. If eCommerce is configured for the curriculum, payment options grid will be shown on the course information page.

 

Administrative user is able to setup registration type with paid value per MDS member and/or non-member.

 

The course can be setup for member or non-member or both by selecting "Course for" setting available on header part of the course settings as shown below:

 

 

The Payment Dependency Information section contains below options to allow eCommerce payment processing for MDS member and/or non-member learners:

 

Note: Below mentioned settings are enabled only when the respective option(s) are checked for "Course for" setting on header part of course.

 

Allow eCommerce for MDS Member

Allow eCommerce for MDS Non-Member

If both check boxes are selected eCommerce Registration Types setup feature will enable setting up registration type with fee for member as well as non-members.

 

And the third setting, "Registration dependent on Member/Customer Type". This setting is required if registration types should be setup based on the MDS member/non-member user group defined in iMIS. If administrative user doesn’t want eCommerce registration types to be member/non-member user group values, this setting shouldn’t be checked. Upon unchecking this setting, administrative user will be able to type in registration types on as required basis.

 

There are two listing grids are available on eCommerce page i.e. for Main Registration Type and Other Registration Type.

 

 

Allow eCommerce for MDS Member

Select Allow eCommerce for MDS Member option to enable setting up amount for MDS members. By default, this check box either be checked or unchecked depending on whether course is allowed for MDS Member or not.

 

Allow eCommerce for MDS Non-Member

Select Allow eCommerce for MDS Member option to enable setting up amount for MDS Non-members. By default, this check box either be checked or unchecked depending on whether course is allowed for MDS Non-Member or not.

 

Registration Dependent on Member/Customer Type

Select Registration Dependent on Member/Customer Type option, if the registration is dependent on member/customer type (iMIS user groups).

 

Submit

Click Submit button to save settings available on Payment Dependency Information section.

 

Title

The Title displays the name for the Main Payment Type.

 

 

 

 

Edit Title

Click Edit to update the title of Main Payment Type.

 

Main Registrations Detail Grid

The main registration type grid lists all main registration type records.

 

This grid is having columns, Registration Type, Email Template, Member Amount ($), Non-Member Amount($), Is Active?, Display Order, Edit, and Delete.

 

 

Add New Registration Type

"Add New Registration Type" option is available on the top part of the listing grid section.

 

Edit Registration Type Record

Click Edit icon to update main registration type record you have selected.

 

Delete Registration Type Record

Click Delete icon to remove the main registration type record you have selected.

 

Title for Other Registration Type

The Title displays the name for the Other Payment Type.

 

Edit Title

Click Edit to update the title of Other Payment Type.

 

Other Registration Dependent on Member/Customer Type

The option, “Other Registration dependent on Member/Customer Type” is enabled/ available when the option, “Registration dependent on Member/Customer Type” is selected as shown below:

 

 

Payment Type

Payment Type describe the selected payment type.

 

Edit Payment Type

Click Edit to update the Payment Type.

 

 

Submit

Click Submit button to save settings available on Other Registration Type section.

 

Other Registrations Types Grid

There is a listing grid which will show "Other Registration Type", if setup, they will appear along with the main payment options on the front-end. Learner will be able to select main registration payment options and then be able to select optional registration option.

 

Same columns as main registration payment listing grid will be available along with Other Registration Type. "Add New Registration Type" option will be there on the listing grid section.

 

 

Add New Other Registration Type

"Add New Registration Type" option is available on the top part of the listing grid section.

 

Edit Registration Type Record

Click Edit icon to update other registration type record you have selected.

 

Delete Registration Type Record

Click Delete icon to remove the other registration type record you have selected.
